Cast Members of the current show, this page is solely for you! Every night after we start run throughs, we will post notes about the show and what you as an actor can improve on. Please check out this page as often as you can when we start our runthroughs, so that we can use time normally spent on notes to practice more scenes. Also, if you have a question or any other form of note for a specific person, post them here so that we can review them and others can learn from them.

Hello Wonderland!
We’re so excited to put on a show with you all! The first rehearsal will be held on June 6th, at St Luke’s church (where we had auditions), from 1.00 to 4.00. Please bring a binder for your script, a highlighter, and a pencil for the read-through. A rehearsal schedule will be given out on Monday, but a heads-up, everyone will be called to this week’s rehearsals, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 1.00 to 4.00 (no rehearsal on Thursday or Friday). On Monday, bring a parent in with you to sign a church release letter and to sign up for snacks. Also, don’t forget to bring a check for $110 made out to DIY Teen Theatre (this will cover script fees, rehearsal space, etc.) If you have any vacation or other conflicts, email me this weekend ASAP because I will base the rehearsal schedule around this. (I already have the conflicts you put on the initial audition form, but I would like to have confirmation on those.)
See you Monday!
Helen Knudsen

Great Job today, Gang!
I know that song is really really hard, because of all the tricky harmonies. It is the hardest and longest song in the show, so it's all downhill from today. For those who missed Monday's rehearsal, we read through ACT 1 and learned the opening song, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. On Tuesday, we read through ACT 2 and learned the closing song, Happiness. Today, Wednesday, we reviewed You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Happiness and also learned The Book Report. Keep up the great work and review these songs until the notes are coming out of your ears!
Remember to bring in checks if you havn't already, and check your email for the snack sign up list (not filled in yet). Pease also transfer (if you have not done so yet) the edits from the script into the music, so you are alert to all the solos.
Amazing job so far, everyone!

Hi gang!
Charlie Brown rehearsals start this Monday, the 7th from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. We are at Faith Evangelical United Methodist Church (same place we auditioned at, or if you’ve forgotten already, corner of North and York kitty corner to Hamburger Heaven.)
What to Bring:
• 1 ½ inch binder for your script (trust me, anything smaller will not work, I’ve tried)
• Highlighter (to highlight your lines)
• Pencil (to make an changes I was smart enough to forget to copy over)
• Bottle of water (to sooth your parched throats after we sing, there is a water fountain but it tastes yucky!)
• *optional* Snack (my mom will provide snacks, but she has been a health nut lately, so you might not like what she brings)
• Check for $80 made out to DIY Teen Theatre
• If you have not already given it to me, a filled out registration form, signed by a parent (it is attached to the email I sent)
Can’t wait to see everyone! This first rehearsal, we will be reading through Act 1, and learning the opening song. Everyone will get a rehearsal schedule either on Monday, or soon after that.
See you all Monday!!!

Everyone--
I'm still waiting for program contest entries for the cover of the program. PLEASE get them in to me soon, or else they might not be accepted or considered for the cover.
I am also waiting for bios from Eric, Glenn, Darcy, Delena, and Collette. Try to fit them into 50 words or less (except Eric, you have 100 words).
Della--Could you please return the extra music script we gave you, we are short on scripts and really need it back for the stage crew.
If anyone has a dress that matches with a doll-sized dress, please tell me (I have already heard from Kirsten and Kyra) because we might need to use it for the song in Act 1 Scene 3.
Lines should be memorized by Monday, 20th, when we start runthroughs. It would be a very good idea to memorize them before hand so that it is easier to remember blocking and choreography.

Just some reminders:
Wednesday, July 8th--1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Wednesday, July 15th--1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Listen to the rehearsals CD so as to learn your songs.
Snacks are ALWAYS welcome because my mom is going broke buying them for all of us! If you are going to be treats, bring enough for 18 (nothing to sweet or messy).
Turn in your bios and program ideas entries to me (Helen) or send them to my email (hedgieheart94@hotmail.com).
